Superman will not be heading down the same dark road to success as his comic book counterpart Batman. That is the message from Superman star Brandon Routh, who will soon be suiting up to play the iconic Man of Steel for the second time. And Routh insists that his Superman sequel will not be borrowing anything from the success of Christian Bale's Dark Knight blockbuster. " I don't think the character necessarily has to be struggle to fit in and find a purpose. Those are the kind of dark places to explore. But I do0n't think Superman Should ever be dark and brooding, that's not his nature."
