Cloud storage has become an essential part of our digital lives, providing a convenient way to store and access our files from anywhere. • With the increasing amount of data we store on our devices, 5 GB is simply not enough to meet the needs of most users. Another problem with the base 5GB plan is the cost of upgrading to a larger capacity plan. Apple's iCloud plans can be quite expensive, with the next tier starting at 50GB for $0.99 per month That may not seem like much, but the cost can add up over time, especially for those who need more storage.
• It's worth mentioning that most cloud storage providers offer much more generous base plans, some even offering up to 15GB of storage for free. This makes Apple's basic 5GB plan more limited and outdated. With the need for cloud storage growing, it's time for Apple to reevaluate its basic plan and give users a more generous option that can meet their growing storage needs

My thoughts:
Apple's basic 5GB cloud storage plan has been a source of frustration for many users, who find upgrading to a larger plan restrictive and expensive. As our storage needs continue to grow, it's important for Apple to offer flexible and affordable plans that can meet the needs of the users. Issue with fist generation Chromecast in long term

 

I have been one of the first users of the Chromecast device on my TV and was fortunate to experience the casting experience from my mobile and laptop. Hope, Google addresses few of the above issues in the first-generation Chromecast or brings in dedication option or feature to install the third-party apps to have seamless casting experience. Few things I like my IT life and in my company

In one of my earlier articles published, I might have detailed the concerns or things that were bothering me in my current company and in this article, I wanted to list down the things that I like in my current IT life and at my company. Following is the couple of things that I like about my company and IT life

• Work-Life balance on daily lifestyle: For most IT people, the work-life balance depends on the project that they work and the assignments that they get from the Client. Fortunately for me, I was able to get into a project or work, where I could get some time to look after my personal work and spend some time with my family on a regular basis.
• No weekend support and relaxed work: Other than the routine work-life balance, one another important thing about working in IT is that providing support during weekend and work pressure during certain time. Fortunately for me in the current company, there were NO or minimal support during the weekend and the work was comfortable, where I could finish it off with ease due to longer duration in the company.

Above listed things are based on my personal experience, and it varies from person to person based on their needs or family commitments. Disappointing Apple Watch 8 Launch in 2022

I was eagerly waiting to follow the scheduled Apple event in September 2022 to know whether there is any drastic new features or enhancements for Apple Watch Series 8. As, I was planning to get an Apple Watch Series for a long time and to my disappointment the Series 8 launch have been lukewarm for various reasons. Following are my observations on why the latest Apple Watch Series 8 announcement was disappointment

• No major re-design as reported by rumors: From past year, there have been concrete rumors that Apple was planning for complete design overhaul for Apple Watch series and the Series 8 would be the product that would have major redesign. However, to quash all rumors Apple has launched Watch Series 8 with the same design as Series 7 and much to disappointment for enthusiasts, the Series 8 incorporates the same processors from the earlier version.
• Lack of unique stand-out feature other than temperature sensor: Another disappointing announcement from Apple on Watch Series 8 was that there was no unique features or enhancements to the product other than temperature sensors. Even with the temperature sensors availability, most enthusiasts thought that Apple would bring in additional health monitoring features and to my surprise, there was not a single mention about new health monitoring other than women’s menstrual cycle tracking.
