Option in MAC to track iPhone and iPad Battery

I have been using both iPhone and MAC operating system for past few years and always feel the integration between the ecosystem was next level and it helps to do all the tasks across devices. However, I personally feel there should have been few features to be integrated in MAC operating system, so users who spend most time in their laptops has option to keep check on their mobile device. Following are my feature requests that needed to be included in the MacBook’s
  • Low battery notification: When we work over long hours in-front of MacBook’s, often we forget about finding chare percentage in iPhone and end up iPhone getting drained during critical times. To overcome this concern, there should have been system preference to monitor iPhone battery percentage that have been linked with the MacBook and have option to notify the user when the battery drops below certain percentage.
  • Battery Health monitoring: iPhone battery has always been concerning for all Apple users and the in-built battery percentage notification is often fluctuating, that does not have reliable insights to improve battery health iPhone. Apple should enable system preference to keep track of iPhone battery health over wi-fi and provide reliable insights for the users to improve battery health.
Looking forward to experiencing the above features sooner than later, so the Apple users with iPhone and MacBook’s enjoy seamless experience. To read more such articles, please feel free to check out “G R Team Sites”

Lack of Apple One yearly subscription availability

For most users, the start of subscription is the most complicated process and once they start any subscription services, they will tend to continue to be in the subscriptions forever and the probability of them cancelling the services are very minimal. The reason, I had pointed the above comment is that, while I was about to subscribe to Apple One subscription services, I felt the prices were to be on the higher side and the unavailability of yearly subscription plans. Most times, I prefer opting for yearly subscription services for the following reasons
  • Not-to worry about recurring monthly payments: With the yearly subscription plan, users don’t need to worry about recurring monthly payments and don't need to feel the pinch of payment every month
  • Attractive competitors pricing: Most competitors have yearly subscription plan, with those subscription plan competitors offer two-month worth of subscription as complimentary or for FREE and this enables both solution where everyone benefits for both subscriber and provider(s).
  • Long time affordability: While subscribing to yearly plans, the users will feel comfortable in paying as one-time subscription fees and it benefits users if the price change occurs in between.
Hope, apple realizes these benefits of offering Apple one as yearly subscription plan and helps users with revised plan. To read more such articles from us, please feel free to check out the "G R Team Sites"

My perception on Apple Music and Apple Arcade service in Apple One Bundle

With continuation to earlier article detailing about Apple One benefits and its impact for me while subscribing to its services. I had earlier detailed about my impact towards iCloud storage plan and Apple TV subscription service, in this article I wanted to detail about the other two services that were included in the Apple One bundle. Let us get into the article about my perception on the services.

  • Apple Music: It is one of my favorite services in the bundle that I would select by default for two main reasons. One is for the recently announced Lossless feature support for the entire music catalogue and the other is the most sought-after Dolby Atmos sound quality for the songs.
  • Apple Arcade: I used to get hooked into iPad or iPhone games often and with Apple Arcade I was left with oscillation of whether I should stay away from the games or get into the subscription for its stunning graphics quality games. Either ways I was not that attracted towards Apple arcade games, and I would not lose or miss out any feature by opting out of these services.
From above descriptions, Apple One subscription is not my cup of tea and missing out this subscription will not harm in any means. However, on pricing front this subscription will be the affordable plan and must have for users stuck up in Apple ecosystem. Not able to lock and collaborate in Excel - Office 365 disadvantages

As part of opting to OneDrive online cloud storage option, the added benefits the users get is the exclusive access to office applications and family sharing up to 6 members. However, recently when I explored the usage of Excel applications with my family and business, I met a strange problem. I wanted the detail the same in this article for my readers.
  • Locking files and collaboration: I wanted to create online sheet for my business users to update daily sales and expenses. The sheet should be restricted only to certain business employees and should be accessible by my partner. However, the business users should have restricted access to the sheet and should be able to edit the sheet only when they enter pre-defined passcode or password. Additionally, the excel file should be accessible via shareable link and other family members should also be able to view the updates happening.
  • I understand that Excel has password protection mode in-built, however when the password protection is enabled, the collaboration mode does not work as it was intended and does not store the updates in online cloud. Once the shared excel file is edited, the file had to be stored from the scratch and shared link does not reflects the updates.
So, the Excel office 365 does not allow users to password lock the file and collaborate with other family members. Hope, Microsoft addresses this issue at the earliest and allows users to lock and collaborate. For more such articles, please feel free to check out the articles published in G R Team Sites.

Suggestion to launch Video Platform from Apple

In recent times, there seems to be monopoly in online video streaming and most corporates & individual users are now left with no options other than YouTube. Apple should have attempted to create their own platform to upload and share videos. With no dedicated video platform for Apple, it must depend on its competitor to upload its own product demonstration videos. This have enabled platform like YouTube to highlight competitors' advertisements in between and ensure people’s attention is grabbed, which in turn impacts buyer's decision. In addition, it has created monopoly environment, where the platform can decide, whether the video requires visibility among users, and it has capability to even hide the video from its recommended sections based on algorithms. By missing out creation of video platform dedicated for Apple or for its ecosystem, Apple has lost heavily on revenue potential and for creators who hate YouTube for its ridiculous monetisation schemes and limitations on content moderation. In recent times, most viewers were also frustrated with YouTube embedding too many advertisements into the videos uploaded in the platform and most the actual video content diversion happens due to competitors advertising before start of the video. I also have suggestions for Apple to launch their own video platform to compete against Google’s YouTube and to know more, please feel free to check out articles published in G R Team sites.
